Help from Germany

October: Helmut Fink from Germany came to visit Hope Worldwide in Baseco. It was a visit that left a deep impression. Seeing people live without sanitation, in tiny makeshift huts, surrounded by garbage is a hard sight to comprehend. Yet people greeted us with happy smiles. We met the sultan who was happy to meet us. We finished the visit at the drop-in center of Hope Worldwide where the children were enjoying their nutritious lunch from the Essential Nutrition Program of Springboard and Hope Worldwide. Mr. Fink pulled out his checkbook the same day to give Springboard the budget for one year to run the Essential Nutrition Program in Payatas as well.
