The Church of Jesus Christ – Latter Day Saints, headed by Sister Empy, was so generous to donate adult circle breathing kits and assorted ambubags, particularly neonatal, pediatric and adult.  These ambubags were then distributed to six different hospitals greatly in need of these equipments, which are Dr. Jose Fabella Hospital, San Lazaro Hospital, National Children’s Hospital, East Avenue Medical Center, Ospital ng Sampaloc and Dr. Jose Reyes Memorial Medical Center.  As per reports given to Springboard from the mentioned beneficiaries, there was a significant improvement in the hospital’s approach in treating patients using these respiratory equipments.  The hospitals now could accommodate more children in need of treatment. Without this equipment patients simply die.
