Fundraising for Fundraisers

September: Springboard Foundation President, Annette Helbig, recently attended a conference for NGO’s from September 14 to 17. The Resource Alliance (an international charity registered in the United Kingdom and the United States) invited to a four-day conference entitled: “Local Communities, Global Impact”. 175 delegates from the Asian region attended this valuable conference that included sessions on “Communities That Care”, “Professionalizing Your Fundraising”, “Planning Your Fundraising Campaign”, “Partnerships That Work” and “Home Is Where The Heart Is”. With international acclaimed speakers Mal Warwick, Usha Menon, Young Woo Choi, Gawin Chutima, and many more, this event became an invaluable lesson for all delegates.

Annette says the conference was helpful and inspiring, a great opportunity to network and learn from the vast experience of other organizations in the region. It was a step ahead for the Springboard Foundation and will be of great value for our future planning, reporting and fundraising campaigns.
