Renovation of NICU Ward at Dr. Jose Fabella Hospital
Dr. Jose Fabella Hospital is a government hospital, which mostly deals with maternity concerns, infants and children. Due to insufficient fund of the hospital, some of the dilapidated rooms are still being utilized. In this light, Springboard Foundation found it necessary to renovate one of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Wards at Dr. Fabella Hospital, particularly Room No. 5. Robert Bosch, Inc. munificently sponsored the renovation that made a huge impact to the children being served in that ward. Currently, the newly renovated ward can accommodate approximately 20 patients. From a feeble ward with chipped tiles and worn out paint to a newly renovated ward with cleaner air and fresher ambiance, parents are now confident that their children will be cared for with optimum quality.
