Springboard Foundation Soccer World Cup

The Springboard Foundation’s 6th Children’s and 7th Women’s Soccer World Cup will take place at Nomads Sports Club, Merville Subdivision on Sunday, February 13th from 8:30am – 5:00pm.

In the Children’s World Cup there will be twelve teams competing for the U-13 trophy: Japan (2002/3/4 Champions), England, France, Philippines, USA, Germany, Australia, Ireland, Spain, Korea and Ang Pilipinas. (consists of children from the newly formed Tuloy sa Don Bosco Orphanage Soccer Club who have only been playing soccer for 6 months)

Six teams will compete in the U-11 competition: Germany, (2004 Champions) Japan, England, Philippines, France and Rest of the World. There will also be an U8 competition: UK (2004 Champions). All teams will consist of players who are passport holders and each team will be coached by teachers and parents from Brent International School, Faith Academy, The British School Manila, Eurocampus, Japanese School or ISM.

In the Women’s Competition there will be 6 teams competing: UK (2004 Champions), Germany, France, USA, Philippines, Japan.
